Horse Course  

Our unique specialty class!  An after-school program geared for total horsemanship training; classroom-style learning on various topics followed by a full-hour riding lesson.  Written learning materials are provided.  Horse course is available for all riders age 7 and above (including adults).

Riding skills and equestrian knowledge are both evaluated during our monthly graduation tests.

Monday through Friday               90 minutes               $ 45.00

Cancellation Policy for Horse Course and Riding Lessons:

1) If your Course/lesson is cancelled by Unbridled Spirit for any reason, we will offer you a makeup lesson — you may choose from two different “makeup lesson dates” scheduled each month

2)         All students are allowed one cancellation per month, but only with a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice:

            - With 2 weeks’ notice, you can choose a makeup lesson on one of two different dates each month.          

            - With less than 2 weeks’ notice (or if more than one cancellation per month), no makeup is allowed and no refunds will be given

       Examples: 

                    You want to take a two-week summer vacation from June 1– June 14; you give us 2 weeks’ notice — you will be offered ONE makeup lesson

                    You want to take a two-week summer vacation from July 25—August 6; you give us 2 weeks’ notice — you will be offered TWO makeup lessons (because each of your two weeks of vacation falls in a different month)

Rain/Weather Policy for Horse Course:

1) CLASSES ARE STILL IN SESSION!  (We have a covered arena and can usually ride)

2) If weather is so severe that we cannot ride, student will receive 2 Horse Course cards instead of 1

3) The next 2 weeks of Horse Course will be all riding (90 minutes) to make up for any riding time lost due to inclement weather

4) If *WE* must cancel due to severe weather or any other reason, Unbridled Spirit will call you within 3 hours of your Horse Course

Riding Lessons

Small groups and private lessons available.  Discounts offered for multiple family members enrolled.  Lessons available in several disciplines with school horses for riders of all skill levels.

Monday through Friday               4:00 — 4:30 p.m.                         

                                                       5:00 — 5:30 p.m.

                                                       6:00 — 6:30 p.m.

                                                       7:00 — 7:30 p.m.

Tuesdays and Thursdays              daytime hours reserved for home-school groups

Monday, Wednesday, Friday       private lessons also scheduled during daytime hours; call or email for availability

30 Minute private weekly lesson           (ages 3 +)                $30 per class, monthly sessions

45 Minute private weekly lesson           (ages 3 +)                $40 per class, monthly sessions

60 Minute private weekly lesson           (ages 6 – adult)       $50 per class, monthly sessions

Group lesson (2-3 students)                                                    $40 per class, monthly sessions,

                                                                                                   1 hour per week

** If not in weekly lessons (e.g. 2 lessons per month instead of 4), add $ 5 per class
