Week-long Camps |

Our week-long camps are as unique as the rest of our programs. They all focus on complete horsemanship skills and emphasize safety, learning, and FUN!
10-11 week-long camps each year: Ages 6—16 2 Sessions during Spring Break 7-8 Sessions during Summer Vacation 1 Session during ChristmasMonday – Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. $ 100 booking fee Friday 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. $ 300 balance due 3 weeks prior to start of camp - OR - 11:00 a.m.— 1:00 p.m. $ 400 total
Sample Schedule of Activities: Afternoon activities may include:
7:45 – 7:55 Students arrive Swimming (please bring suit and towel) 8:00 – 10:30 Groom, tack, riding lesson Bathing horses 10:30 – 11:30 Horse Course Arts and Crafts 11:30 – 12:15 Lunch “Horse Course” trivia game 12:30 – 2:45 Afternoon activity Horse movies 2:45 – 3:00 Students picked up Games on horseback Bowling, ice skating, or other excursions (depending on weather) ********************************
Snacks/Lunch: During all daytime camps, only snacks are provided. There is a lunch break but due to the variety of dietary restrictions and choices students follow, lunch is NOT provided, so PLEASE BRING A LUNCH!
Water: A water bottle with a strap is REQUIRED; you may bring your own or purchase an official “Unbridled Spirit” water bottle holder/coozie ($ 10)
Helmets: All riders are required to wear helmets, which are provided.
Punctuality: Drop-off and pick-up are 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start and end times of camp; this ensures that our weekly lesson program also remains on schedule. A daily “late fee” will be assessed at a rate of $5 for every 5 minutes beyond the scheduled pick-up time
What we provide:· Equestrian helmets for all riders · Safe school horses for riders of all skill levels · 4:1 ratio (or less) of students to instructor · Daily curriculum, structured and organized learning · Camp book to take home, containing students’ learning materials and photos · Planned afternoon activities, including: bathing and feeding the horses, swimming, educational horse trivia game, horse crafts, and horse movies · Games on horseback · Trail riding, outdoor camping, and beach trips for advanced camps

Enrollment:
· $100 booking fee due upon registration · Balance due 3 weeks prior to start of camp · $30 family discount for siblings enrolled (or for same child enrolled in multiple camps)
· Please be punctual when dropping your children off and picking them up · Bring sack lunch Monday – Wednesday · Bring insulated water bottle with shoulder strap · Bring gloves and jacket (winter) · Bring shorts to change into for afternoon sessions (warm weather) · Wear jeans, tennis shoes or boots…. No sandals
· Thursday is Camp Quiz day - students will be tested on their Horse Course material · Thursday is also PIZZA DAY — don’t bring a sack lunch on Thursday! · Friday is Parent Day, either from 8:00 – 10:00 AM or from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM, depending on your child’s scheduled time. You don’t want to miss this!! · Bring your cameras! Your camp riders will be doing a demonstration for you! · Awards will be given to each student · Bring your other children…they will get an opportunity to ride at Parent Day! · Camp ends on Friday immediately following each Parent Day horse show
Cancellation Policy: Booking fee: $100, non-refundable Cancel with 14 or more days’ notice, $300 refund (full price minus booking fee) Cancel with 7-13 days’ notice, $200 refunded Cancel with 6 or fewer days’ notice, no refunds given |
